Job Summary The Senior Consultant/Lead SAC Planning will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and Forecasting solutions. This role requires deep expertise in SAC Planning functionalities, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with clients and internal teams. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving successful SAC implementations and contributing to the growth of our SAP practice. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP SAC Planning and Forecasting implementations : This includes requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Design and build complex planning models within SAC, including master data, actuals, plan data, allocations, and simulations. Develop and implement SAC planning functionalities such as data actions, advanced formulas, planning functions, and version management. Collaborate closely with business users and functional consultants to understand planning requirements and translate them into effective SAC solutions. Provide expert guidance and best practices for SAC Planning to clients and internal teams. Oversee and participate in data integration activities between SAC and various source systems, including SAP BW and other SAP modules. Develop and optimize SAC reports and dashboards to visualize planning data and key performance indicators. Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Act as a primary point of contact for client communication and coordination related to SAC Planning projects. Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and client teams on SAC Planning functionalities. Stay updated with the latest SAP SAC features and functionalities, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge. Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and effort estimations for new SAC opportunities. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAC Planning and reporting. Required Skills And Qualifications Primary Skills : 7-8 years of experience in SAP Planning and Analytics solutions, with a strong focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and Forecasting. Demonstrated expertise in SAC Planning model design and development. Proficient in SAC Planning functionalities, including data actions, advanced formulas, planning functions, and version management. Secondary Skills Solid experience in SAC Reporting and Dashboarding. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SAP BW (Business Warehouse) for data integration and warehousing. Knowledge of SAP ABAP CDS (Core Data Services) for data extraction and integration. Business Skills Proven Team Leadership experience, with the ability to guide, mentor, and motivate a project team. Extensive knowledge of SAC implementation methodologies and best practices. Good understanding of various SAP modules (e.g., FICO, SD, MM) to comprehend planning integration points. Excellent Client Communication and Coordination skills, with a track record of building strong client relationships. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
