SAP Procurement Officer

Job Title: SAP Procurement OfficerLocation: Saudi ArabiaDepartment: Procurement / Supply ChainReports to: Procurement Manager / Supply Chain ManagerJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP Procurement Officer with at least 3 years of experience in procurement and purchasing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely purchasing of goods and services through the SAP ERP system. The role demands strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with proficiency in SAP (MM module preferred).Key Responsibilities:Manage procurement processes including RFQs, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders using SAP ERP.Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of materials, vendors, and pricing in the SAP system.Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply issues.Evaluate and select vendors based on price, quality, and service.Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.Work closely with internal departments (finance, warehouse, operations) to align purchasing with organizational needs.Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.Generate procurement reports and analytics using SAP tools and Excel.Support audits and documentation requirements related to procurement.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 3 years in procurement, with hands-on experience in SAP (Material Management/MM module).Skills:Strong understanding of procurement cycles and vendor managementProficiency in SAP (creating POs, PRs, GRNs, etc.)Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic analysis)Good communication and negotiation abilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyLanguage: Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.Preferred Qualifications:SAP certification in MM or SCM moduleExperience in procurement for industries like manufacturing, logistics, or constructionFamiliarity with international sourcing or import documentation
