About the Role:

SAP S/4HANA

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead

  end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation

  across all relevant modules (MM, PP-PI, QM, SD, FI/CO, EWM/WM)
• Drive

  business process mapping

  to align SAP configuration with pharma-specific needs (batch manufacturing, GMP compliance, expiry management, audit trails)
• Coordinate with external SAP implementation partner and internal teams (Production, QA/QC, Finance, Procurement, Sales, IT)
• Ensure

  regulatory compliance

  within SAP setup — covering Schedule M, GMP guidelines, and traceability for all batches
• Integrate SAP with

  Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)

  , manufacturing equipment, and reporting tools
• Develop and execute

  user acceptance testing (UAT)

  and end-user training programs
• Manage

  data migration

  from legacy systems to SAP
• Oversee

  change management

  to ensure smooth adoption by all departments
• Prepare for

  go-live

  and manage post-implementation stabilization and support

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–15 years

  of total experience, with

  minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementations

  in a manufacturing company (preferably pharma/chemicals/FMCG)
• Strong functional knowledge of:

• MM

  (Materials Management) – APIs, excipients, packaging procurement

• PP-PI

  (Production Planning – Process Industries) – recipes, batch processing, shelf-life

• QM

  (Quality Management) – in-process & final quality control, audit compliance

• SD

  (Sales & Distribution) – trade channel, credit management, GST invoicing

• FI/CO

  (Finance & Controlling) – statutory compliance, cost centers, profitability analysis

• EWM/WM

  – inventory management, cold chain (if applicable)
• In-depth understanding of

  GMP, Schedule M

  , and batch traceability requirements
• Strong

  project management skills

  with ability to manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and ability to

  translate business needs into SAP solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA certification in relevant modules
• Experience in integrating SAP with LIMS and other pharma-specific tools
• Exposure to

  USFDA/EU GMP

  requirements is a plus
• PMP / Prince2 certification (advantageous but not mandatory)
