Job Description

CA or MBA Finance with 7 -9 years of post-qualification experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or strategy consulting.

Responsible for overseeing the group companies Strategy & Corporate Finance, to drive strategic initiatives, corporate development, and financial advisory activities across the group.

Role And Responsibilities

  • CORPORATE STRATEGY & LONG-TERM PLANNING:
  • Drive the strategic planning process, including annual strategy review, strategic plans, and business portfolio evaluation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and track strategic KPIs and ensure execution through governance frameworks and periodic reviews.
  • Conduct industry benchmarking, market intelligence, and competitor analysis.
  • Support the Board and leadership team in strategic presentations, investor narratives, and capital market communication.
  • CORPORATE FINANCE & CAPITAL ALLOCATION:
  • Engage in corporate finance activities, including debt and equity financing, capital structure optimization, and investment appraisal.
  • Evaluate and prioritize capital allocation across business units, projects, and geographies.
  • Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis for major investment decisions.
  • Manage relationships with investment banks, credit rating agencies, banks and financial institutions.
  • Support CFO in long-term funding strategy, treasury planning, and cost of capital optimization.
  • MERGERS, ACQUISITIONS & STRATEGIC INVESTMENTS:
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A, JV, and divestment opportunities in line with corporate strategy.
  • Lead deal evaluation, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.
  • Develop post-merger integration frameworks to ensure synergy realization and value creation.
  • Build pipeline of strategic partnerships (startups, joint ventures, distribution alliances, etc.).
  • BUSINESS PERFORMANCE & FINANCIAL PLANNING:
  • Partner with FP&A and business finance teams to drive business reviews, budgeting, and long-term forecasts.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable financial goals and metrics.
  • Monitor group financial performance and highlight improvement areas to the management team.
  • Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and financial outcomes.
  • INVESTOR RELATIONS & COMMUNICATION:
  • Support stakeholders in preparing investor presentations, earnings decks, and analyst communications.
  • Develop key messaging for shareholders, rating agencies, and financial media.
  • Ensure consistent communication of the company's strategic direction and performance story.
