Job Description

Job Title: Sales Trainer Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to join our team. The Sales Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the sales performance of our agents. This role requires strong communication skills, in-depth knowledge of sales techniques, and the ability to motivate and develop sales professionals in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver training modules for new hires and existing sales teams on sales techniques, soft skills, product knowledge, and customer handling. Conduct refresher training sessions to enhance productivity and improve sales conversion rates. Identify training needs by evaluating team performance, listening to calls, and reviewing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Create engaging training materials, manuals, scripts, and role-play exercises tailored to BPO sales requirements. Collaborate with managers and team leaders to align training with business goals and sales targets. Provide on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and floor support to sales executives. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, quizzes, call audits, and performance reports. Stay updated with the latest sales practices, industry trends, and BPO sector requirements. Maintain records of training activities and prepare reports for management. Required Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of tele sales, outbound/inbound sales processes, and customer engagement strategies. Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire sales teams. Analytical mindset to identify training needs and measure outcomes. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven BPO environment. Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, or related field). 2–5 years of experience as a Sales Trainer, Team Leader, or in a similar role in the BPO/Call Center industry. Proven track record of improving sales performance through training. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Improvement in sales conversion rates. Reduction in average handling time (AHT) without compromising quality. Increase in customer satisfaction scores (CSAT/NPS). Training completion and certification rates. Agent retention and reduced early attrition.
