Job Title: Team Leader – Automobile Sales

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and target-driven Team Leader to oversee and guide the sales consultants in the automobile sector. The role requires managing day-to-day sales activities, motivating team members, achieving group sales targets, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of Sales Consultants to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
• Monitor daily showroom/field activities and ensure high levels of customer engagement.
• Guide team members on product knowledge, sales processes, and customer handling.
• Ensure timely follow-ups on leads, inquiries, and test drives to maximize conversions.
• Track and analyze team performance, preparing reports for management.
• Maintain strong customer relations to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate with finance, insurance, and after-sales departments for smooth delivery.
• Provide regular training, coaching, and feedback to enhance team performance.
• Resolve escalated customer queries and complaints efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, processes, and ethical practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in automobile sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/team handling role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Good knowledge of automobile products, features, financing, and competitive landscape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
