Job Description

Role Purpose

To provide end-to-end sales back-office support through coordination with sales teams, international customers, and internal stakeholders, while managing SAP order and sample processing, export documentation, and supporting data-driven decision-making.


Key Result Areas

Customer Centricity

  • Share planning, dispatch, shipment status, and shipping documents within 36 working hours
  • Proactively inform customers of changes in planning, dispatch, or schedules
  • Coordinate material availability across plants
  • Support special customer requests (returns, FOB shipments, etc.)
  • Provide timely updates on sample planning and dispatch

Building Capability – Order Processing

  • Manage order processing and order entry in SAP
  • Prepare and share Proforma Invoices (PI) and customer-specific documents
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of orders as per plan

Brand Building – Single Point of Contact

  • Act as the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with CHA, shipping lines, agents, distributors, and C&F agents
  • Liaise with internal teams including Production Planning and International Logistics
  • Support joint development initiatives with customers

Building Capability – Back Office Support

  • Share production plans and stock status with Sales & Marketing
  • Support distribution channel management
  • Follow up on customer payments
  • Manage sample dispatch activities


Summary

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree (preferably B.Tech/BE); master’s in business administration/marketing preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience:

    5–6 years of relevant experience
  • Skills:

    Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint, strong understanding of sales operations and customer service, basic export documentation and analytical skills
  • Systems & Tools:

    Prior experience in SAP SD module preferred; tech-savvy with exposure to relevant IT systems
  • Competencies:

    Strong written and verbal communication, multitasking ability, accuracy, strong work ethic, and optional people/management skills
