Process Engineer

About the Role

To help the plant team improve critical equipment performance, Analysis and Reporting of Planned and Unplanned Shutdowns, leading Improvement initiatives, development, and optimization projects including, coordinating with the plant for the implementation, commissioning, startup, and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Assessing processes, taking measurements, developing the data bank, interpreting data and developing best practices.
• Evaluation of existing processes, Developing, configuring, and optimizing them to achieve the Organization's Goals.
• Manage cost and time constraints and perform risk assessments.
• Upgrading systems & processes and developing innovative solutions to improve Yield, Productivity, and Quality.
• Operational troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• B-Tech/BE(Chemical)
• 3+ years of experience in the Carbon Black industry
• Location-Durgapur, West Bengal

Required Skills

• Solid and proven knowledge of the Carbon Black production process (design, engineering, and operation).
• Knowledge of process-related standards.
• Analytical thinker combined with out-of-the-box thinking.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Independent and can-do-attitude.
• Good interpersonal skills, effective communication and Teamwork.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Computing simulation skills and Process Calculation are plus.
