Process Engineer

Role Overview

• Perform process design and engineering activities for upstream oil & gas facilities.
• Support operations and EPC teams in optimizing production processes, troubleshooting, and process simulations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety practices, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and Heat & Material Balances (HMB).
• Participate in process simulations and studies for upstream oil & gas facilities.
• Support oil & gas production operations with process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in EPC environments.
• Ensure adherence to applicable industry codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Assist EPC teams in process design and engineering deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years experience in upstream oil & gas production as a Process Engineer or Operations/Plant Operator.
• Hands-on experience in process simulation and design using Aspen HYSYS and ProSim.
• Good understanding of upstream oil & gas production systems and processes.
• Prior experience with upstream companies such as ONGC, OIL, Cairn, GAIL, Essar, Reliance (RIL) preferred.
• EPC experience supporting process design and engineering in organizations like LTTS, TOYO, EIL, Technimont, etc., is an advantage.
