Job Profile: Sales & Operations Executive

Role Overview

The Sales & Operations role at Kay Bee Exports International is a dynamic position that combines commercial strategy, operational execution, and cross-functional leadership. The role requires strong internal and external stakeholder management, ensuring seamless coordination across our supply chain, customers, growers, logistics partners, and internal departments.

The candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end operational cycle of international fresh produce exports while also managing the P&L of assigned markets/projects, with a focused approach on profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This is a high-visibility role with direct access to the senior management team and multiple business verticals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

Ø Manage and grow existing international customer accounts.

Ø Support the development of new markets and customer relationships.

Ø Understand customer requirements, forecast demand, and align operations accordingly.

Ø Ensure accurate pricing, adherence to commercial terms, and achievement of revenue targets.

2. End-to-End Operations Management

Ø Coordinate the complete export lifecycle: sourcing, packing, documentation, container booking, shipment follow-ups, and delivery.

Ø Work closely with internal teams such as production, quality, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth execution.

Ø Monitor shipment timelines to ensure schedule accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Ø Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement corrective actions.

3. Stakeholder Management (Internal & External)

Ø Serve as the single point of contact for customers, growers, operations teams, and logistics partners.

Ø Maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders on schedules, quality, forecasts, and exceptions.

Ø Build strong relationships to ensure smooth alignment and problem resolution.

4. P&L Ownership

Ø Manage the profitability of each project/market independently.

Ø Monitor cost structures, pricing, and margins with a clear focus on sustainable profitability.

Ø Prepare profitability analyses and ensure precise financial reconciliation after each shipment.

Ø Identify areas for operational efficiency and cost optimization.

5. Reporting & Strategic Inputs

Ø Maintain accurate MIS for shipments, sales performance, and P&L.

Ø Share periodic updates with management on performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Ø Participate in annual planning for markets, crops, volumes, and pricing strategies.

Ø Skills & Attributes Required

Ø Strong communication and relationship-management skills.

Ø Analytical mindset with good command over numbers, costing, and profitability.

Ø Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Ø Problem-solving attitude with a proactive and ownership-driven approach.

Ø Knowledge of export operations, international logistics, or agri-exports (preferred but not mandatory).

Ø Good Excel and reporting skills.

Education & Experience

Ø Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred but not mandatory).

Ø 1–5 years of experience in sales, operations, supply chain, logistics, exports, or related domains (fresh produce experience is a plus).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
