The Manager, Sales Operations and Enablement is a pivotal management role responsible for overseeing a team of functional individual contributors dedicated to equipping the sales force with essential tools, processes, methods, and training. In this capacity, you will spearhead the operational management and leadership of a team focused on fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence. Your role will involve addressing a wide array of challenges that require a comprehensive evaluation of various factors. You will be assigned objective-based tasks and will be responsible for determining the resources necessary to meet schedules and objectives. Problem-solving will often necessitate adherence to processes and operational policies, even when faced with limited information, and the implementation of solutions may require a forward-thinking approach that considers multiple perspectives. Effective communication and presentation skills are essential, as you will be required to convey results and recommendations to diverse stakeholders across disciplines. Collaboration with key external contacts and stakeholders will be a key aspect of your role, as well as providing guidance to subordinates within the confines of established company policies. Your impact will be significant, as you will be instrumental in developing and executing operational plans to achieve tactical results and guiding your team towards medium-term goals. Failure to achieve results could lead to increased costs and have repercussions for up to a year. Your decisions will have an impact on your immediate team members and influence methods and techniques employed within the organization. As the Manager, Sales Operations and Enablement, your accountability will extend to meeting short to medium-term targets across disciplines, offering guidance to subordinates within established company policies, managing operational initiatives, and contributing to the budgeting process. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of tasks, including assisting the sales team in refining their market approach, providing training interventions to facilitate continuous improvement and revenue growth, and offering tools and methodologies to streamline account management and forecasting efforts. Furthermore, you will be tasked with planning and organizing multiple work outputs, enhancing sales performance through the evolution of processes and technologies, acting as a change agent for sales initiatives, identifying areas for process improvement, and ensuring the delivery of content and communication related to marketing and sales collateral. Your role will also involve collaborating with internal stakeholders, benchmarking external data, and managing enablement technology to ensure its continued relevance and usefulness. The ideal candidate for this position should possess advanced knowledge of IT operations and service offerings, a deep understanding of the IT industry environment and business needs, strong leadership skills, business acumen, collaboration abilities, and a solid grasp of sales environments and challenges. Academic qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, while relevant certifications such as SPIN and Solution Selling would be advantageous. Additionally, the candidate should have a demonstrable track record of experience in a similar role, operational management of sales operations teams, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, process engineering, and systems management.,
