Job Title : Director- Project Management Years of Experience : 14 - 18 years Location : Chennai Role Summary We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Director Project Management to drive strategic project execution, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder alignment across our portfolio. This is an individual contributor role requiring close coordination with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Product Managers, Sales, Business, and Client teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, experience in dashboarding and reporting, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks while keeping senior management informed. What will you do ? Lead and coordinate project governance across multiple ongoing initiatives, ensuring alignment between project execution and strategic goals. Act as a key liaison between cross-functional teams including Product, Delivery, Business, Sales, and Client stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project health and delivery timelines, escalate bottlenecks, and work proactively with stakeholders to resolve issues. Provide data-driven insights and analysis through dashboards, reports, and presentations to senior leadership. Identify, assess, and track project risks, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation planning. Define and maintain standard project metrics and KPIs across teams. Support resource allocation discussions and capacity planning in alignment with business goals. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices, tools, and communication. Stay updated on best practices in program and project management, applying relevant trends to improve execution. What skills required ? Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Masters preferred). 14+ years of experience in Project/Program Management in a technology-driven environment. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams across Delivery, Product, Business, Sales, and Clients. Strong understanding of project governance, lifecycle management, risk identification, and mitigation strategies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Hands-on experience in dashboarding, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel), and project management tools (e.g., Rocketlane and JSM Preferred). Ability to influence without authority and drive accountability across teams. Experience presenting to and collaborating with senior leadership. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
