Job Summary

Mumbai and Western India markets

Key Responsibilities

1. Dealer Appointment Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive dealer appointment plan for the Mumbai region and surrounding markets.
  • Identify and evaluate potential dealers based on capability, reach, and alignment with company standards.
  • Negotiate and finalize dealership agreements in line with company policies.

2. Domain Expertise Utilization

  • Use strong packaging industry domain knowledge to identify new business opportunities.
  • Assess dealer operational efficiency and technical capabilities to ensure effective product representation.

3. Relationship Development

  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Conduct scheduled performance review meetings and resolve dealer challenges proactively.

4. Training and Development

  • Conduct structured training programs for dealer sales teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and competitive positioning.
  • Provide ongoing sales support, guidance, and capability-building.

5. Performance Monitoring and Support

  • Track dealer performance using KPIs such as sales targets, conversion ratios, and order frequency.
  • Provide actionable feedback and support strategies to maximize dealer sales performance.

6. Market Insights and Analysis

  • Conduct regular market research to understand emerging trends, competitor offerings, and buyer behavior specific to the Mumbai market.
  • Generate reports and recommend corrective actions to strengthen market position.

7. Co-Marketing Initiatives

  • Collaborate with dealers on co-branded marketing activities, trade events, and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure availability of marketing collateral and promotional materials.

8. Feedback Loop & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement a structured feedback system to gather insights from dealers and customers.
  • Coordinate with product and marketing teams to integrate feedback into planning and development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields; MBA preferred.
  • 3–8 years of experience in Sales/Business Development within the

    Packaging Industry

    .
  • Strong skills in dealer management, negotiation, CRM usage, and market analysis.
