ROLE DESCRIPTION

Sales Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development:

  • Enhance the customer network by identifying and acquiring new clients.
  • Develop and expand market penetration within the semiconductor and electronic components industry.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing market needs and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with business goals.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Conduct regular on-site visits to clients to strengthen relationships and understand their needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Address customer queries, concerns, and provide post-sales support to ensure long-term partnerships.


Sales Target Achievement:

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Cold calling and direct outreach to potential leads & target audience.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients to maximize profitability.


Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights to improve product offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
  • Identify potential distribution and partnership opportunities to expand the company’s market share.


Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to the management team.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and client data through CRM tools.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • An MBA or Degree in Electronics would be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the electronics, semiconductor, or electronic components industry.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, distribution, and channel management is preferred.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve customer concerns effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel extensively for on-site client visits and business meetings.
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and result-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor products and electronic components is a plus.
