ROLE DESCRIPTION We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Manager to be at the forefront of developing our business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, client acquisition, and relationship management, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. The role requires proactive engagement with clients and partners in the semiconductor and electronics industry to drive business growth and brand positioning. LOCATION: Mumbai EMPLOYMENT TYPE: On-site KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development: Enhance the customer network by identifying and acquiring new clients. Develop and expand market penetration within the semiconductor and electronic components industry. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing market needs and trends. Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with business goals. Client Relationship Management: Conduct regular on-site visits to clients to strengthen relationships and understand their needs. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Address customer queries, concerns, and provide post-sales support to ensure long-term partnerships. Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Cold calling and direct outreach to potential leads & target audience. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients to maximize profitability. Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments. Provide insights to improve product offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns. Identify potential distribution and partnership opportunities to expand the companys market share. Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to the management team. Maintain accurate sales records and client data through CRM tools. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or Degree in Electronics would be an added advantage. Experience: 35 years of experience in sales, preferably in the electronics, semiconductor, or electronic components industry. Prior experience in B2B sales, distribution, and channel management is preferred. Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet sales targets. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve customer concerns effectively. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite. Ability to travel extensively for on-site client visits and business meetings. Self-motivated, dynamic, and result-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently. Knowledge of semiconductor products and electronic components is a plus. Evaluate vendor capabilities, reliability, and pricing structures. Identify and onboard new suppliers to diversify the vendor base. Pricing & Sales Support: Provide accurate and timely pricing to the sales team for RFQ submissions. Track price trends and ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.
