Job Description: Sales Manager

Location: Delhi

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports To: Management


Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, manage sales teams, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction at House of Travellers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the travel, hospitality, or tourism industry, with proven expertise in sales, team leadership, and client relationship management.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.

• Drive package sales for domestic and international travel, group tours, and customized itineraries.

• Upsell and cross-sell add-ons such as activities, insurance, and premium services.

• Monitor sales trends and forecast demand to maximize revenue.


2. Lead Management & Conversion

• Distribute leads among sales executives and track daily performance.

• Maintain a 40–50% lead follow-up ratio to ensure high conversion rates.

• Build and nurture strong client relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.

• Conduct regular review calls with agents to improve lead handling. 


3. Team Management & Training

• Supervise and guide sales executives (profit-funded roles).

• Conduct weekly training sessions on destinations, product knowledge, and sales techniques.

• Motivate and mentor team members to achieve personal and team KPIs.

• Support in hiring and onboarding new sales executives.


4. Collaboration with Marketing & Operations

• Partner with the marketing team to refine campaigns for better-quality leads.

• Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth bookings, vendor negotiations, and client satisfaction.

• Share market insights to help create competitive travel packages.


5. Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.

• Analyze lead source performance and recommend ad budget allocation (Meta, Google, etc.).

• Monitor individual agent performance and suggest improvements. 6. Client Experience & Branding

• Ensure an excellent customer experience throughout the client journey.

• Handle escalations and complaints effectively to protect brand reputation.

• Represent House of Travellers in networking events, exhibitions, and B2B meets.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Monthly Revenue: Achieve or exceed assigned targets.

• Lead Conversion Rate: Maintain above 30–40%.

• Client Retention: Ensure high repeat and referral business.

• Sales Team Performance: Drive consistent productivity of each sales agent.

• Campaign ROI: Maximize sales contribution from marketing campaigns.


Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in travel, hospitality, or tourism.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• In-depth knowledge of domestic & international destinations.

• Proficiency in CRM systems and lead tracking tools.

• Strong negotiation, networking, and vendor management skills.

• Ability to analyze market trends and implement growth strategies.
