Job Summary

The Sales Manager with Nutritionist Background is responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion for feed mill operations, specializing in agricultural commodities such as soya meal, De-Oiled Rice Bran DORB , and related feed ingredients. This role combines technical nutrition expertise with commercial acumen to develop strategic relationships, provide technical support to customers, and achieve sales targets in the animal feed industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Drive profitable sales growth for feed mill products including soya meal, DORB, corn gluten, and other feed commodities

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for local and international markets

Identify and cultivate relationships with feed mills, integrators, premix manufacturers, and livestock farms

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within assigned territories

Build and maintain strategic long-term business relationships with key accounts and decision- makers

Technical & Nutritional Support

Provide technical consultation on animal nutrition and feed formulation to customers

Evaluate nutritional value of feed ingredients and supplements for optimal animal health and performance

Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to veterinarians and animal health professionals

Formulate customized feed solutions based on customer requirements and species-specific nutritional needs

Stay updated on latest developments in animal nutrition, feed additives, and industry regulations

Market Intelligence & Strategy

Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and assess competitive landscape

Monitor commodity price trends, particularly for soya meal, DORB, and related feed ingredients

Provide market intelligence and forecasting to support business planning and inventory management

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and educational materials

Customer Relationship Management

Manage existing customer portfolios while actively prospecting for new business opportunities

Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction

Conduct regular client visits and participate in industry trade shows and conferences

Handle contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and delivery terms coordination

Qualifications Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or Food Technology

Master's degree in Animal Nutrition or related field preferred

Professional certifications in animal nutrition or feed technology are advantageous

Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 8 years of experience in feed sales, animal nutrition, or commodity trading

Proven track record in the feed supplement and animal nutrition industry

Experience working with feed mills, integrators, and livestock producers

Background in technical sales within agricultural commodities sector preferred
