Job Title: Sales Manager – B2B Cosmetics Contract Manufacturing Location: Gurgaon Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Cosmetics / Personal Care / Contract Manufacturing Experience Required: 5–10 years in B2B sales, preferably in cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG manufacturing Company Overview We are a fast-growing contract manufacturer in the cosmetics and personal care industry, partnering with renowned brands to bring their product visions to life. From formulation to packaging, we offer end-to-end manufacturing solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead B2B sales initiatives, drive business development, and expand our client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in selling manufacturing services, a solid understanding of cosmetics product lifecycles, and a network within the beauty and personal care industry. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities with cosmetics and personal care brands (domestic and international). Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, brand owners, and procurement teams. Understand client requirements and work with internal teams (R&D, production, regulatory, packaging) to deliver customized solutions. Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements. Track market trends, competition, and product innovations in the cosmetics segment. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and manage post-sales support. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Here are the detailed KPIs that will define success in this role: 1. Revenue GenerationMonthly/Quarterly/Annual Sales Revenue vs. Targets Revenue growth from existing clients Profit margins on deals closed 2. New Business DevelopmentNumber of new clients acquired per quarter Conversion rate from leads to clients Value of the new sales pipeline (qualified opportunities) Number of brand presentations / product pitches conducted 3. Client Relationship Management Client retention rate Customer satisfaction Number of repeat orders or expanded contracts Turnaround time for client queries and support 4. Market Penetration & ExpansionEntry into new geographic markets or segments Number of new product lines added through client deals Number of trade shows/events attended and leads generated 5. Internal Coordination & DeliveryOn-time project handover to production/R&D teams Accuracy in capturing client requirements (first-time right rate) Number of escalations due to miscommunication or delays 6. Strategic InitiativesContribution to strategic partnerships or long-term contracts Recommendations for product or service improvements based on client feedback Innovation in sales strategy or channel development Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG Proven track record in achieving sales targets and building client relationships Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Knowledge of cosmetic product development and manufacturing processes is a plus Comfortable using CRM tools and MS Office Suite Compensation Competitive salary + sales-based incentives Performance-linked bonuses Travel reimbursements and professional development support
