Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving room and banquet revenue, developing corporate and travel trade business, maintaining strong client relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve the hotel’s revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, property visits, presentations, and client meetings.
  • Handle inquiries for rooms, banquets, conferences, weddings, and events, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office, Reservations, F&B, and Banquets teams to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, promotional activities, exhibitions, and networking events to increase brand visibility.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and credit guidelines within company policies.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality / Business Administration / Sales or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years experience in hotel sales (preferred in corporate & travel segments).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and local market trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools; experience with OTA platforms preferred.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
