Job Purpose

  • To drive sales of lighting products by developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and channel partners. Responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and dealers in the assigned region.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for lighting products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to ensure consistent sales growth.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure effective implementation of sales schemes, promotions, and pricing strategies at dealer/distributor level.
  • Provide training and product knowledge support to channel partners and their sales teams.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and payment collections.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of lighting industry / electrical products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
  • Market intelligence and competitor analysis skills.
  • Good presentation and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Electrical Engineering (preferred).
25 years of experience in B2B / channel sales, preferably in lighting, electricals, or consumer durables.Proven track record of achieving sales targets through distributors and dealers.

Willingness To Travel Extensively Within Assigned Territory. Compensation
