Job Summary:
We are looking for two proactive and results-driven Sales Executives with experience in freight forwarding and international logistics (covering both Export and Import). Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will identify new business opportunities, build and manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth through our logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
Identify and approach potential clients who require international logistics, freight forwarding, or customs clearance services.
Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and participation in industry events.
Actively contribute to sales campaigns and business development initiatives.
Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
Understand client needs and propose customized logistics solutions.
Act as the main point of contact for client queries, ensuring high satisfaction and service excellence.
Sales & Negotiation
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations for air, sea (LCL/FCL), and land freight services, along with customs clearance.
Negotiate contracts, close deals, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery and address any issues proactively.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive activity, and client behavior in the freight and logistics sector.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
Submit regular reports and performance updates to the Sales Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications
2–5 years of proven sales or business development experience in freight forwarding or international logistics.
Must have hands-on experience handling both Export and Import logistics sales.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Industry Knowledge
In-depth understanding of international shipping processes including Air Freight, Sea Freight (LCL/FCL), express cargo, and customs procedures.
Familiarity with Incoterms and relevant documentation.
Sales Acumen
Strong negotiation, presentation, and lead generation skills.
Ability to identify client needs and offer effective logistics solutions.
Communication
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to build rapport and maintain trust with clients quickly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with CRM software is a plus.
