ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales of electrical products, building customer relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role involves lead generation, customer visits, handling technical queries, and supporting project execution.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Sales Engineer at ALLIED COMMERCIAL AGENCIES PRIVATE LIMITED. The Electrical Sales Engineer will be responsible to generate leads and reach out potential customers regarding sales of electrical products and providing technical support to customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves maintaining relationships with existing clients and identifying new sales opportunities & lead generation, handling technical queries and support project execution in the industry.

POSITION: SALES ENGINEER

A. For Experienced Candidates

• Experience: 2–4 years in Technical / Industrial Sales
• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (MBA in Marketing is a plus)
• Job Type: Full-time, On-site
• Location: Patna, Bihar
• CTC: ₹2.0 – ₹3.5 LPA + Incentives (based on performance)
• Probation: 2 months (70% of CTC during probation)

B. For Fresher Applicants

• Experience: 0–1 year (fresh graduates welcome)
• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (MBA in Marketing is a plus)
• Job Type: Full-time, On-site
• Location: Patna, Bihar
• CTC: ₹1.8 – ₹2.0 LPA + Incentives (based on performance)
• Probation: 2 months (70% of CTC during probation)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate new business opportunities through referrals, field surveys, and industry networks.
• Promote and sell products from leading brands.
• Designing/editing electrical systems design for buildings and power distribution networks.
• Analytical thinking skills
• Computer operations (Email, Tendering, Word/Excel and simple software operation)
• Good communication skills
• Conduct client visits, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and expand customer base in industries, utilities, and real estate.
• Support order execution and coordinate with the project team for smooth delivery.
• Address customer complaints and provide after-sales support.
• Travel within assigned zones for client engagement.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Technical Proficiency – Understanding electrical products, explaining features as business benefits, and providing pre/post-sales support.
• Sales & Business Development – Lead generation, client outreach, market research, and converting opportunities into deals.
• Sales Support & Operations – Preparing quotations, managing orders, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Customer Engagement – Relationship management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
• Data & Reporting – Basic sales analysis and use of CRM/ERP tools.
• Communication Skills – Strong verbal/written communication, technical presentations, and teamwork.
• Problem-Solving & Ownership – Analytical thinking, adaptability, and a proactive, result-oriented mindset.
• Electrical System Design Support – Basic designing/editing of electrical systems for buildings and power distribution networks.
• Computer & Documentation Skills – Proficiency in email, tendering processes, MS Word/Excel, and simple software operations.
• Willingness to Commute – Comfortable with on-site visits and frequent travel within assigned zones for client engagement.
