SUMMARY
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team in Kolkata. This role is pivotal in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solar power solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding with proven sales acumen to convert leads into successful projects. With a focus on project execution, client satisfaction, and timely delivery, the Sales Engineer plays a key role in advancing our market presence and achieving organizational objectives. This position demands a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, travel-intensive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, generate, and qualify new sales leads to expand the customer base.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, present customized solutions, and close deals through effective negotiation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Ensure compliance with legal formalities and manage payment realization processes efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting on sales activities, project progress, and client interactions.
  • Resolve client and operational issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • Travel frequently across regions to meet clients, conduct site visits, and support project implementation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong self-motivation, leadership, and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial sales, with prior experience in the solar power industry being highly preferred.
  • Graduate from a reputed institution; additional certifications or qualifications are advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and experienced in using CRM software for sales tracking and customer management.
  • Solid understanding of project planning, execution, and lifecycle management.
  • Age 25 years or above.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
