Role & responsibilities 1. Business Development & Lead Generation Identify new customers across Power, Steel, Cement, Mining, OEMs, EPCs, Material Handling industries. Conduct daily plant visits, cold calls, and site surveys to generate enquiries. Build a pipeline of potential clients and maintain consistent follow-up. 2. Technical Sales & Product Presentation Understand customer requirements and recommend the correct gearbox, motor, coupling, conveyor drive unit, or industrial equipment. Prepare technical + commercial proposals for gearboxes, motors, and mechanical drives. Explain product advantages vs competition ( Premium, Bonfiglioli, Elecon). 3. Customer Relationship Management Develop long-term professional relationships with maintenance teams, purchase departments, and project engineers. Maintain regular touchpoints for repeat business and AMCs. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication and support. 4. Enquiry to Order Execution Handle enquiries, visit customer sites, and collect technical data (power, RPM, torque, duty, mounting, ratios, motor details). Coordinate with OEMs ( Premium Transmission, CG Power, Rampur Engineering) for quotations, pricing, and delivery timelines. Drive the entire order cycle from enquiry quotation negotiation purchase order dispatch. 5. Territory Management Plan weekly routes and cover key industrial locations (Nagpur, Vidarbha, Telangana, AP, Karnataka Preferred candidate profile Diploma/BE Mechanical, 15 years industrial sales experience, preferably in gearboxes, motors, pumps, or mechanical equipment. Must have strong plant visit exposure, good technical understanding, excellent follow-up skills, and the ability to generate enquiries independently. Should be field-oriented, target-driven, and comfortable handling maintenance & purchase teams in power, steel, cement, mining, and manufacturing industries. Candidates from Vidarbha/Nagpur preferred.
