We are expanding rapidly and are looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business opportunities across India & APAC region.


Role Overview

  • The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for

    active sales activities focused on hunting new prospects

    across the India & APAC geography.
  • The primary goal is to generate qualified leads and

    fix discovery calls/meetings

    .
  • The role requires proactive outreach via

    calls, emails, social media

    , and structured outbound cadences.

Key Responsibilities

I. Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Conduct outbound sales qualification calls to identify prospect pain points, needs, and fit.
  • Book outbound meetings through

    cold calls, email campaigns, social selling, networking

    , and independent research.
  • Run outbound cadences using sales engagement platforms to generate consistent top-of-funnel activity.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities across the India & APAC region.


II. Engagement & Communication

  • Engage confidently with prospects, including

    C-suite executives and Directors

    , clearly articulating Spalba’s value proposition.
  • Share relevant marketing content, case studies, and product insights to nurture prospect interest.
  • Follow up rigorously with prospecting customers to uncover additional needs and move them into the pipeline.


III. Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work closely with the Sales Account Managers to ensure smooth handover of qualified meetings and alignment on ICP, persona profiles, and use cases.
  • Maintain accurate logs of outreach activities, conversations, and follow-ups in CRM (Zoho)
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve prospecting processes and outbound strategies.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of qualified outbound meetings/calls fixed with new prospects.
  • Outbound activity metrics

    : calls, emails, LinkedIn touches, and multi-channel cadence execution.
  • Quality of meetings booked

    aligned with ICP and persona guidelines.
  • Contribution to monthly and quarterly pipeline targets.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of outbound sales or inside sales experience

    , preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of

    Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)

    , buyer personas, and relevant business use cases, especially inthe  hospitality industry.
  • Experience selling in

    Domestic, International, or both

    markets.
  • Strong analytical mindset and results-oriented approach across all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Excellent

    verbal and written English communication

    skills. Natural flair for building a long-term career in sales.
