Role Description

  • This is a full-time, on-site position for a

    Sales Development Representative (SDR)

    based in

    Medavakkam, Chennai

    .
  • The SDR will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, generating leads, and building strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Day-to-day tasks include reaching out to prospects, conducting discovery calls and product demos, and providing insights into Centaur Digital’s SaaS and digital transformation solutions.
  • This role requires close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to execute outreach strategies, optimize the sales pipeline, and achieve growth targets.


About the Role

  • We are seeking a motivated

    Sales Development Representative

    to drive pipeline growth in the

    Indian B2B SaaS market

    .
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in B2B SaaS prospecting, cold calling, and lead qualification, with a proven ability to connect with decision-makers and generate qualified opportunities.
  • Fluency in both English and Hindi

    is required to effectively communicate with prospects across different regions in India.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate qualified leads in the

    retail and eCommerce B2B market

    through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Execute high-volume daily outbound calls to connect with decision-makers in

    mid-market and enterprise accounts

    .
  • Understand customer pain points to effectively position Centaur Digital’s SaaS solutions and create interest.
  • Communicate confidently in

    English and Hindi

    , adapting tone and approach based on regional preferences.
  • Schedule and qualify meetings for Account Executives, ensuring smooth handoffs and accurate lead details.
  • Research and map target accounts, maintaining up-to-date records and activity logs in the CRM.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed performance KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked, qualified leads).

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–4 years

    of experience as an SDR or BDR, with at least

    1 year in B2B SaaS

    .
  • Proven success in

    cold calling

    and handling sales objections confidently.
  • Excellent

    verbal and written communication

    skills in

    English and Hindi

    .
  • Proficiency in modern sales tools such as

    HubSpot, Outreach, Apollo.io, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator

    .
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a

    fast-paced, high-growth environment

    .
  • Only candidates with prior experience in SaaS companies will be considered.
