The role

A Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a key member of the sales organization responsible for uncovering opportunities, qualifying prospects, and moving them into the sales pipeline. SDRs engage leads early, warm them up, and hand them off to Account Executives (AEs) who focus on closing deals.
SDRs act as the first line of outreach, using email, calling, and social platforms to identify and nurture potential customers. Their success directly influences the quality of pipeline generated for AEs.

What you ll be doing

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and targeted campaigns. Generate 3-4 meetings per week.
  • Identify and research potential customers, understand their business needs, and engage them in meaningful conversations to create interest and build rapport.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and manage leads, document activities, and provide accurate and timely reports on lead generation efforts and outcomes.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria, ensuring they meet the target customer profile and have the potential for conversion into sales opportunities.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or product demonstrations between qualified leads and the sales team.
  • Act as a product expert, understanding the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of the companys offerings to effectively communicate value propositions to potential customers.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to effectively position the companys products or services.
  • Collaborate with Sale Directors to align messaging, campaigns, and strategies for lead generation and conversion.
  • Provide feedback and insights to enhance sales processes, marketing strategies, and product development based on customer interactions and market feedback.

What we re looking for

  • 1-3 years proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or similar roles, in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, processes, and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with prospects and build relationships.
