Job Description

Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Industry: Solar Manufacturing / Renewable Energy
Location: India
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting To: Sales Manager / Head of Sales

Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team in a solar manufacturing company by managing sales operations, coordinating with internal departments, handling customer communications, and ensuring smooth order execution. The role plays a key part in driving sales efficiency, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery of solar products such as modules, inverters, or related components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the sales team to support domestic and/or export sales activities
  • Prepare and process sales quotations, proposals, and tenders (government & private)
  • Handle order booking, order confirmation, and coordination with production, dispatch, and logistics teams
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and MIS reports
  • Follow up with customers for purchase orders, documentation, and payment collection
  • Coordinate with finance for invoicing, credit limits, and payment tracking
  • Support channel partners, EPC customers, distributors, and key accounts
  • Assist in tender documentation, bid submissions, and compliance requirements
  • Track sales targets and provide periodic performance reports to management
  • Address customer queries related to pricing, delivery schedules, and product availability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/CRM systems (SAP preferred)
  • Good understanding of sales processes and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Customer-oriented approach with attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of solar products, EPC projects, or renewable energy market (preferred)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or related field
  • 1-5 years of experience in sales coordination or sales support
  • Experience in solar, renewable energy, electrical, or manufacturing industry preferred

Preferred Attributes

  • Knowledge of Indian solar market, EPCs, and distribution channels
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing renewable energy environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
