Position: IT Executive

Job Summary:

The IT Executive will be responsible for managing the day-to-day IT operations within the manufacturing plant. This role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network systems to support production activities effectively. The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting automation systems integral to manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the plant’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems.
• Provide technical support for hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners) and software issues faced by plant staff.
• Monitor system performance and perform regular security checks to safeguard against data breaches.
• Support manufacturing automation systems, including SCADA, PLCs, and ERP systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related procurements and maintenance contracts.
• Implement and enforce IT policies and best practices across the plant.
• Ensure data back-up procedures are in place and regularly tested.
• Assist in planning and implementing IT projects to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular training sessions for employees to improve IT literacy.
• Provide on-call support for emergency IT issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, system administration, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with industrial IT systems, including automation technologies.
• Proficiency in managing ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
