Job Description

The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team by handling administrative, operational, and client-facing tasks to ensure smooth functioning of sales activities. This role is critical in bridging communication between clients, sales executives, and other internal departments. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Assist the sales team in managing day-to-day activities, including lead tracking, follow-ups, and scheduling client meetings.
  • Prepare and manage quotations, proposals, and invoices.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to ensure timely delivery of products/services.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and dashboards using CRM or company tools.
  • Liaise closely with the Sales team and CEO to ensure alignment on strategic priorities, reporting, and client communications.

Client Interaction

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt responses and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Support in onboarding new clients by coordinating documentation, demos, and after-sales communication.
  • Follow up on pending payments, renewals, and contracts.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular sales reports, performance updates, and presentations for management review.
  • Track sales targets and report variances against goals.
  • Maintain updated databases of clients, prospects, and sales activities.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Organize and schedule sales meetings, training, and reviews.
  • Assist in coordinating events, trade shows, and marketing campaigns when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales-related activities.


KEY SKILLS

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and independently when required
  • Customer service orientation with problem-solving mindset
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  • QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
    • 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, sales support, or a similar role
    • Prior experience in [IT/software/tech/product-based company] preferred
