Key Responsibilities:


  • Business Development:

    Identify and target potential customers for air, ocean, rail, and road freight services.
  • Sales Strategy:

    Develop and implement sales strategies to build a strong pipeline and achieve monthly and annual revenue goals.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Sales Target Achievement:

    Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Solution Development:

    Understand client shipping needs and create customized logistics solutions to enhance service value.
  • Service Coordination:

    Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research:

    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the logistics sector.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

    Track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to management.
  • CRM Management:

    Maintain up-to-date client and sales activity records in the CRM system.
  • Problem Resolution:

    Address and resolve client queries and shipment-related issues promptly and effectively.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics services.
  • Sales Skills:

    Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Communication:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical Skills:

    Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and develop strategic solutions.
  • Technical Knowledge:

    Familiarity with logistics software, international trade documentation, and customs procedures.
  • Organization:

    Strong multitasking, time management, and planning skills.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    Sound understanding of freight forwarding processes, shipping modes, and industry best practices.
