Job Title: Sales Coordinator (IT / Software Company)

Experience Required: 1–3 Years

Position Overview

The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team by handling initial client communication, scheduling meetings, managing leads, preparing basic sales documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination before the Sales Executive’s visit. This role requires strong communication skills, follow-up ability, and comfort with IT/software product discussions (training will be provided).

Key Responsibilities

Lead Handling & Initial Communication

  • Make outbound calls to potential clients to introduce company software/products.
  • Understand customer requirements at a basic level and share relevant information.
  • Qualify leads and ensure they meet the criteria before forwarding them to Sales Executives.
  • Maintain professional communication through calls, emails, and WhatsApp.

Coordination for Sales Executives

  • Schedule meetings, demos, and client visits for the Sales Executives.
  • Share client requirements and background with the sales team before the meeting.
  • Follow up with clients for confirmation, rescheduling, and documentation.
  • Prepare visit schedules and maintain daily/weekly calendars.

Documentation & Data Management

  • Prepare quotations, introductory decks, emails, and follow-up messages.
  • Maintain CRM entries, lead status updates, and call logs.
  • Track progress of leads from initial contact to closure stage.
  • Prepare pre-sales documents required for demos or meetings.

Customer Support (Pre-Sales Only)

  • Provide basic product information to customers before executive involvement.
  • Resolve simple queries and direct technical queries to relevant teams.
  • Maintain positive and polite customer interactions.

Reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on lead generation, calls made, meetings scheduled, and follow-up status.
  • Update the sales pipeline and share reports with management.
  • Track pending client responses and follow-up reminders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (any stream).
  • 1–3 years experience in sales coordination, telecalling, pre-sales, or inside sales.
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and customer handling skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email writing.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) — preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Good follow-up habits and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualities

  • Familiarity with software / IT products (training will be given).
  • Energetic, organized, and proactive.
  • Ability to work closely with sales teams.
  • Professional communication and positive attitude.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
