📌 Role Summary

Sales & Business Development Executive

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of the solar PV industry, exceptional sales acumen, and a proven ability to forge long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders (e.g., Independent Power Producers, EPCs, Asset Owners, and Investors).

🎯 Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
  • Identify and Prospect:

    Proactively identify and target potential clients (solar asset owners, IPPs, developers, and financial institutions) for Sustainfy Energy’s services.
  • Service Promotion:

    Aggressively market and sell our core services:
  • Solar Power Plant

    AMCs

    (Comprehensive and Non-comprehensive O&M).
  • Specialized

    Testing and Inspection

    (e.g., I-V Curve Tracing, EL Testing, Thermography, End-of-Warranty Inspections).
  • Technical Due Diligence

    and

    Feasibility Studies

    for solar projects.
  • Owner’s Engineering

    and Project Management Consulting.
  • Proposals and Negotiation:

    Create compelling, technically sound, and customized proposals and presentations. Lead contract negotiations to successfully close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Gather market intelligence on competitor services, pricing, and new industry trends, particularly concerning solar O&M and quality assurance practices.
Client Relationship Management
  • Key Account Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, positioning Sustainfy Energy as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Coordinate with the internal technical, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction.
  • Reporting:

    Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and forecasts using CRM software.
💼 Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Renewable Energy) or Business/Marketing with a strong technical background. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:

    3-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, specifically within the

    Solar PV

    or

    Renewable Energy

    sector. Experience selling technical services (O&M, testing, consulting) is highly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge:

    Good understanding of solar PV plant components, performance monitoring, and the technical scope of O&M, inspection, and testing activities.
  • Skills:

    Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Attributes:

    Self-motivated, target-oriented, ability to work independently, and willing to travel extensively.
