Job Title: Technician – Solar Power Plant

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance.

2. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of solar power plant

equipment.

3. Perform troubleshooting and repair of inverters, strings, and other system

components.

4. Assist in the operation and monitoring of electrical panels and related

equipment.

5. Analyze plant performance and support in identifying deficiency improvements.

6. Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

7. Generate and present performance and maintenance reports to management.

8. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain safe working practices at

all times.

9. Supervise and coordinate laborers and subcontractors during plant activities.

10. Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to achieve

operational goals.

Preferred Candidate Profile

1. Basic understanding of computers and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
2. Knowledge of electrical panels and equipment operations.
3. Familiarity with solar PV systems and their components.
4. Hands-on experience in inverter and string troubleshooting.
5. Strong engineering and problem-solving skills.
6. Experience in performance analysis of solar power plants.
7. Previous exposure to preparing and submitting technical reports.
8. Knowledge of safety protocols in solar plant operations.
9. Ability to lead, manage, and coordinate laborers/subcontractors.
10. Strong teamwork, coordination, and communication skills.
