We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems for ground-mounted solar power plants (>20 MW capacity) . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in solar power design and strong skills in creating clear, industry-compliant technical drawings. Key Responsibilities: 1. Electrical Design & Drawing Preparation: Develop comprehensive electrical schematics, layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLDs) for large-scale solar projects. Prepare wiring diagrams, conduit layouts , and equipment placement plans . 2. Earthing & Lightning Protection: Design earthing layouts with detailed grounding system calculations. Create lightning protection layouts (LA) integrated with overall electrical design. 3. Panel & Cable Management: Draft general arrangement (GA) drawings for LT panels with a focus on safety and optimal configuration. Prepare cable schedules for LT/HT systems , trench layouts , and routing plans for implementation. 4. Collaboration & Project Coordination: Coordinate with electrical engineers, project managers, and site engineers to collect inputs and meet project requirements. Update and revise drawings based on cross-functional team feedback. 5. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain organized documentation of designs, revisions, and technical files . Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support in material specification and procurement . 6. Power System Analysis: Perform electrical analysis for LT/HT panels , switchyards, and transformer substations (11 kV/33 kV) . Generate accurate as-built drawings reflecting completed installations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in solar power plant design (preferably >100 MW capacity projects). Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, PVsyst , and other electrical design/simulation tools. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards , and safety practices . Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Inspection Supervisor at Sustainfy Energy located in Pune. The Inspection Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing inspection control, inspection, quality management, quality assurance, and supervisory tasks related to the testing and evaluation of solar power plants and components.
