Sales Manager (Modular Kitchens & Interiors)

Role Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets for modular kitchens and related home interior solutions. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the modular furniture industry and customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base for modular kitchens.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to final closure and post-sales coordination.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and drive team performance to exceed goals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and discounts in line with company policy.
  • Actively engage in key account management and close high-value deals.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team (Sales Executives/Consultants) to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer engagement abilities.
  • Set performance metrics for the sales team and conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and sales excellence.

3. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key industry stakeholders, including Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, and Channel Partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to increase project sales (B2B) and retail sales (B2C).
  • Participate in sales events, exhibitions, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

4. Project Coordination & Customer Experience

  • Collaborate closely with the Design and Installation teams to ensure smooth project execution, accurate billing, and timely delivery.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by acting as a point of escalation for client issues and guaranteeing a premium customer experience throughout the sales and installation process.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of [X] years of proven sales experience, with at least [Y] years in a sales management role within the Modular Kitchen, Interior Design, Furniture, or Building Materials industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), MS Office Suite, and a strong understanding of modular design and material specifications.
