JOB DESCRIPTION – Sales & Marketing Assistant / Officer (Pharma API – Domestic & Export Market)

Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Assistant / Officer with hands-on experience in Pharma API Sales for both Domestic and International Markets. The candidate should have knowledge of Export-Import Documentation, Merchant Exporter Procedures, ERP/CRM Software, and Export Account Handling, and must be capable of supporting senior sales management in business development and order processing.

Key Responsibilities1. Domestic & International API Sales Support

• Assist in sales activities for Pharma API products in domestic and international markets.
• Support senior sales managers in customer inquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and order confirmation.
• Coordinate with domestic distributors and international buyers (Formulation companies, Merchant Exporters).
• Maintain and update customer database and sales pipeline.

2. Export Documentation & Compliance Support

• Prepare and verify Export Documents:
• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Certificate of Origin
• Proforma Invoice
• COA, SDS, TDS
• Support Merchant Exporter documentation (CT1/LUT, third-party documents).
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and transporters.
• Assist in export order processing and dispatch documentation.

3. Import Documentation Support (If Applicable)

• Assist with Bill of Entry, Packing Lists, Import Invoices, and related documents.
• Coordinate with CHA or import service providers for smooth clearance.

4. ERP / CRM Pharma Software Usage

• Maintain customer and sales order information in ERP/CRM systems.
• Track sales orders, shipments, and invoices.
• Generate reports for senior management using ERP/CRM tools.

5. Export Account & Finance Support

• Support senior accounts or sales team for export payment follow-ups, FIRC/BRC documentation, and outstanding accounts.
• Ensure timely coordination with accounts team for invoices and payment tracking.

6. Market Research & Business Development Assistance

• Assist in tracking global API market trends, competitor pricing, and new business opportunities.
• Maintain records of client communications and potential leads.
• Support senior management in business development initiatives.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills

• Experience in Pharma API sales for Domestic & Export markets.
• Knowledge of Export-Import documentation and Merchant Exporter procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM software (Tally ERP, SAP, Pharma ERP, etc.).
• Understanding of export account handling and payment realization.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and email etiquette.
• Negotiation and customer interaction skills.
• Target-oriented, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate across departments.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3–5 years in Pharma API Sales & Marketing (Domestic + Export).
• Experience with export account coordination is preferred.
• Must have worked with Merchant Exporters and international clients.

Salary Range

• ₹25,000 – ₹60,000 per month (depending on skills, experience, and export knowledge)
• Performance-based incentives and travel reimbursement may be provided

Reporting To

• Senior Sales & Marketing Manager / Managing Director

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
