About The Team

The Reverse - Execution Team at Bangalore supports the end-to-end CRTV program for returns and is a part of the Store Operations team at Lowe’s. The team supports in the execution of activities and provide rapid insights pertaining to product returns, return to vendors / merchants. The team aims to optimize the current network to reduce returns, foster better 3PL relationships, and influence higher RPU thereby saving costs and generate revenue.

Job Summary

Reverse Logistics Analyst will deliver operational results and help lead project level initiatives, relating to the effective and efficient flow of merchandise through the Reverse Logistics network. The Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day functions and analytics within the Reverse Logistics network and collaborate closely with other Supply Chain and Merchandising departments. Further, the Analyst will be responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of external vendors & 3PL partners that support the Reverse Logistics Operations. The team ensures that all service levels and key performance metrics are achieved through an integrated strategy of Customer Return, Reverse Logistics and Asset Recovery of Appliances and General Merchandise.To be successful, the individual in this role must have a strong understanding of analytical techniques and disparate data sources - both internal and external, and strong domain expertise.

Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide manifests to 3PL partners and help with any queries and their resolution.
  • Work on transportation load plans to the 3PL locations and resolving chargebacks from vendors and carriers
  • Partners with key internal and external partners to execute operational excellence and environmental sustainability initiatives
  • Performs regular reporting of metrics of internal and 3PL KPIs to include liquidation values and recovery per unit.
  • Work with Power BI to provide reporting and own the scheduled refreshes of dashboards
  • Ad hoc activities involving data pulls using SQL to support the Reverse Logistics function.
  • Implement business plan for area of responsibility

Years Of Experience

Overall 3+ years of Experience
  • 3 years of experience in Supply chain Management
  • 3 years’ experience in Transportation, Logistics management
  • 2+ years’ experience reporting and data analytics
  • 2+ years’ experience of project management

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research or Related Field
  • MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

  • Experience in building reports and storytelling with data.
  • Experience in creating robust reporting packages
  • Use of Excel, basic Power BI and basic knowledge of SQL
  • Experience in Retail Industry especially in E-Commerce
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Experience with Python and Knime Analytics
  • Advanced Power BI & SQL
