Job Role: The Revenue Analyst is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and
implementing strategic pricing models, ensuring market price parity, and providing
actionable insights through data analytics. This role is crucial for maximizing our profitability
and maintaining a competitive advantage in a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pricing Strategy & Logic:
o Develop, implement, and manage dynamic pricing strategies based on market
demand, seasonality, competitor analysis, and booking trends.
o Conduct in-depth analysis of market conditions, competitor pricing, and
historical data to make informed pricing decisions.
o Utilize data to create pricing models that optimize for both occupancy and
average daily rate (ADR).
• Parity Management:
o Monitor and enforce price parity across all distribution channels, including
the company's website, OTAs and Internal demand channels.
o Identify, investigate, and resolve pricing discrepancies in real-time to prevent
revenue loss and maintain brand integrity.
o Collaborate with sales, marketing, and channel management teams to ensure
a unified pricing strategy is maintained.
• Data Analytics & Insights:
o Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., PMS,
Metabase, Google Analytics) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
o Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility
into revenue, occupancy, and pricing performance.
o Conduct comprehensive post-event analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of
pricing strategies and promotions.
o Present data-backed insights and recommendations to senior management to
guide strategic decision-making.
• Forecasting & Reporting:
o Generate accurate short-term and long-term demand forecasts.
o Prepare and deliver regular reports on revenue performance, market share,
and competitive position.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a data-driven analytical role, preferably within the hospitality,
travel, or e-commerce industries.
• Demonstrable experience with Python, MS-Office, G-Sheets , SQL for data extraction
and analysis.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or
Metabase.
• Solid understanding of pricing concepts, revenue management, and price parity.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex
data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a
related discipline.
