Revenue Analyst

Role Overview: As a Revenue Analyst at MakeMyTrips Hotels, you will play a strategic role in unlocking growth and maximizing profitability within the Hotels business vertical. Your main responsibilities will include tracking key business metrics, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, creating interactive data visualizations, analyzing data using statistical techniques, ensuring accuracy of operational reports, driving high-impact projects, and collaborating with management to refine business needs based on data insights. Key Responsibilities: - Track key business metrics on a daily basis and create automated reports and dashboards for the team - Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize business and information needs - Create interactive data visualizations by interpreting trends and integrating data from multiple sources - Analyze data using statistical techniques to identify emerging customer or business patterns and highlight areas for improving efficiency and productivity - Ensure accuracy and integrity of operational reports, addressing and resolving any issues related to data representation or quality - Drive strategic, high-impact projects aligned with business objectives - Collaborate with management to refine and prioritize business needs based on evolving data insights Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics from a reputed institute - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience - Strong knowledge of advanced SQL queries and Excel - Exposure to web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe Omniture - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy - Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools and technologies - Proficiency in writing complex queries, generating reports, and presenting data-driven insights - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate on complex projects within the team and across functions - Solid understanding of statistics, with prior experience in statistical tools or programming languages such as SPSS, SAS, R, or Python preferred,
