Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clothing retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing order processes, team performance, cash flows, and store audits while driving growth, profitability, and efficiency. This role requires a strong leader who can build a cohesive team, optimize operational processes, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: 1. Order Management: Supervise and streamline the end-to-end process of customer and vendor orders. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of merchandise. Coordinate with suppliers and the merchandising team to ensure accurate, cost-effective purchasing. 2. Team Building & Motivation: Recruit, train, and develop sales associates and support staff. Foster a positive team environment and encourage high performance through goal-setting and regular feedback. Conduct periodic performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement. 3. Cash Flow & Financial Management: Monitor daily sales, returns, expenses, and maintain accurate cash flow records. Prepare financial reports and forecasts for management. Ensure efficient billing, banking, and reconciliation procedures. 4. Auditing & Compliance: Implement and maintain internal audits for stock, cash, and process adherence. Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and legal regulations. Regularly assess and improve SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). 5. Cost Control & Optimization: Identify areas for reducing operational costs without compromising quality or customer experience. Negotiate with vendors and service providers to secure the best pricing and terms. Eliminate inefficiencies in resource allocation and staff scheduling. 6. Customer Experience & Store Presentation: Maintain high visual merchandising standards and store hygiene. Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally. Ensure the store ambiance aligns with brand aesthetics and market expectations. ⸻ Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred). 3–5 years of proven experience in retail or store management, preferably in fashion or clothing. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Excellent understanding of retail operations, financial principles, and customer service.
