Retail Store Manager

As an experienced Retail Store Manager with 6-8 years of experience in a supermarket/hypermarket, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end operations of a high-traffic supermarket/hypermarket. Your responsibilities will include driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a large retail team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage daily store activities, including inventory, merchandising, billing, and customer service to ensure smooth store operations. - Achieve sales targets, control costs, and optimize profitability through effective retail strategies to enhance sales & profitability. - Train, motivate, and manage a team of department supervisors, cashiers, and sales staff for effective team leadership. - Ensure stock availability, minimize wastage, and coordinate with vendors/warehouse to manage inventory & supply chain efficiently. - Maintain high service standards, resolve complaints, and ensure a shopper-friendly environment to enhance customer experience. - Adhere to retail policies, labor laws, hygiene standards, and loss prevention measures for compliance & safety. - Analyze sales reports, footfall data, and KPIs to improve store performance through effective reporting. Qualifications Required: - 6-8 years of experience as a Store Manager/Assistant Manager in a supermarket/hypermarket. - Proven track record in driving sales, team management, and retail operations. - Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of inventory software (SAP, Tally, Retail POS) & MS Office. - Excellent communication (local language + English) and customer service skills.
