We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and operationally talented Retail Operations Manager to lead our retail operations within a bustling airport terminal. This critical role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's performance, with a strong emphasis on driving sales, ensuring strict operational compliance, and cultivating a high-performing team capable of delivering outstanding service to a diverse, time-sensitive customer base. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-security environment and possess exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.
· Manage Retail Frontend Teams at multiple Retail Stores to provide excellent customer service, explain and sell products and achieve sales targets
· Manage relationships with Airport Authorities & Retail Concessionaires to Manage the stores
· Manage Operations and P&L of multiple Retail Stores - at Pune, PNQ Airport, BLR Airport
· Analyze daily and weekly sales data to Manage and achieve sales targets
· Train Retail Teams on a regular basis - on products, product stories, ethics, discipline, getting customer reviews and Corporate leads
· Manage the team with empathy, training and support and motivate them to achieve and surpass targets and build a service oriented brand
· Collaborate closely with marketing and merchandising teams to implement effective promotions and ensure product placements resonate strongly with travelers.
· Ensure that all team members embody the brand values and deliver consistent, professional messaging to a global customer base
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of progressive experience in a retail management role, with significant experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
· Airport retail experience is highly preferred.
· Demonstrated success in leading, motivating, and developing sales teams to consistently achieve and surpass targets in a demanding operational setting is essential.
· Strong analytical skills, enabling the interpretation of sales and operational data to drive performance.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring diverse teams and interacting effectively with various stakeholders.
· Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and sales analytics tools is expected.
A competitive salary ranging from INR 30,000 to INR 50,000 per month, along with significant performance-based incentives.
