Retail Business Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for owning the P&L of the Large Format Retail business, including managing relationships with business partners, overseeing merchandising, retail sales operations, and in-store staff performance. It is essential to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to drive sales, profitability, and enhance customer experience. Key Responsibilities: - Full ownership of sales and profitability for the LFR business, developing and executing annual operating plans, and optimizing trade terms and margins. - Building and strengthening relationships with LFR partners at the CXO/Buying Head level, negotiating listings, space, visibility, and promotions, and ensuring adherence to joint business plans. - Driving seasonal merchandise planning, allocation, and replenishment, monitoring sell-through, ageing, and markdowns, and collaborating with VM & MarCom teams for in-store visibility and promotions. - Leading and monitoring a team of promoters, in-store staff, and merchandisers, ensuring store staff productivity through training, motivation, and incentive programs, and driving retail KPIs. - Planning and executing LFR-exclusive promotions, offers, and marketing activations, tracking ROI of promotions, and leveraging co-op marketing budgets with partners. - Working with supply chain for OTIF deliveries, collaborating with finance for claims and credit control, and aligning with HR for promoter hiring and training plans. Qualification Required: - 10-15 years of experience in Retail/Apparel/Lifestyle industry, with a focus on managing Large Format Retail accounts. - Strong understanding of B2B2C business models, joint business planning, and trade negotiations. - Proven track record in P&L management, merchandising, retail operations, and in-store promoter management. - Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills. - MBA/Masters in Retail/Fashion Management from a reputed institute preferred.,
