Job Title: Restaurant Manager – Casual Dining

Location: Borivali, Mumbai

Reports To: Cluster Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our casual dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience, optimizing staff performance, maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations including FOH and BOH.
  • Ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and food quality standards as per company SOPs.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings, assign duties, and monitor team performance.
  • Handle staff scheduling, attendance, and shift management.
  • Foster a positive and motivated work environment.
  • Guest Experience:
  • Ensure guests are welcomed and served promptly and courteously.
  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Collect guest feedback to improve service and experience.
  • Financial Performance:
  • Monitor daily sales, wastage, and profitability.
  • Control food, beverage, and labor costs.
  • Ensure billing accuracy and adherence to cash handling procedures.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on sales, staff, and operations.
  • Implement company policies and maintain updated documentation.
  • Key Skills & Requirements:
  • Proven experience (minimum 3-4 years) as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a casual dining.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and shifts.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality or related field.
  • Familiarity with local food trends and guest preferences.
  • Strong guest orientation and business acumen.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹65,000.00 per month
