Role Overview

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of operations in a high-end, luxury dining environment. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, team leadership, and adherence to the restaurant’s service standards. The ideal candidate is polished, guest-focused, and able to maintain the elevated service expectations of a luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities1. Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure world-class hospitality and personalized service for every guest.
  • Manage guest interactions, handle VIP guests, and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain service standards, ambiance, hygiene, and overall restaurant presentation.

2. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations including reservations, table management, and service flow.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ordering, vendor coordination, and cost controls.
  • Conduct regular restaurant walk-throughs to ensure readiness and upkeep.

3. Team Leadership & Training

  • Lead, train, motivate, and mentor service staff, captains, and supervisors.
  • Conduct regular briefings, performance evaluations, and skill development programs.
  • Foster a positive work culture aligned with luxury hospitality standards.

4. Financial & Business Management

  • Achieve revenue targets and monitor key performance metrics (average check value, covers, table turnover).
  • Manage budgets, P&L statements, operating expenses, and labor costs.
  • Plan and execute promotions, events, and special menus with culinary and marketing teams.

5. Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate closely with the Chef, Bar Manager, Marketing Team, and Senior Management.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between kitchen, service, and bar operations.
  • Represent the restaurant professionally in meetings, events, and brand initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience managing premium or fine-dining restaurants; luxury hotel experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest-handling skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of fine-dining service, wine pairing, and global cuisines.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, reservation software, and basic financial reporting.

Compensation

Competitive salary package with performance incentives, service charges, and benefits as per company policy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
