Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, ensuring profitability, and upholding operational excellence. Knowledge of Telugu is essential for effective communication with both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning and high standards of service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure consistent product availability.
  • Maintain quality control over food, beverages, and service standards.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, optimize costs, and improve profitability.
  • Create and analyze reports related to sales, costs, and employee performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
  • Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, and performance appraisals.
  • Implement SOPs and operational checklists to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the culinary team for menu updates, promotions, and special events.
  • Maintain the property and ensure it is always guest-ready in terms of cleanliness, ambiance, and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in restaurant management or hospitality operations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Telugu (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of restaurant financials, P&L management, and cost control.
  • Guest-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to handle pressure and solve problems effectively.
  • Knowledge of restaurant software systems is an advantage (POS, inventory, reservations, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
  • Graduate in Hotel Management or a related field preferred.
