Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Reinsurance Manager located in Gurugram. The Reinsurance Manager will oversee and manage reinsurance agreements, develop strategies to optimize risk placement, and analyze reinsurance claims. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, preparing financial reports, and collaborating with underwriting and finance teams to align reinsurance activities with company objectives. This position is critical to maintaining strong relationships with reinsurers and stakeholders and supporting decision-making through data analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in assessing data to inform decision-making and optimize processes
• In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, with expertise in reinsurance and underwriting practices
• Experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, and accounting principles
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards in the insurance sector
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Professional certifications such as CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) or similar are a plus
