Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our business across North India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, expanding distributor networks, managing regional sales teams, and strengthening relationships with key hospitals, institutions, and channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Expand market presence for surgical and healthcare products in North India
  • Identify new business opportunities with hospitals, institutions, government tenders, and distributors
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends

Channel & Distributor Management

  • Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors and dealers across the region
  • Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and stock management
  • Resolve distributor issues and strengthen long-term partnerships

Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate Area Sales Managers / Sales Executives
  • Set targets, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews
  • Conduct joint field visits and provide on-ground coaching

Key Account & Institutional Sales

  • Develop relationships with key doctors, hospitals, purchase departments, and government bodies
  • Support institutional sales, rate contracts, and tender participation
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and collections

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare sales forecasts, monthly reports, and MIS
  • Ensure timely collection and control of outstanding payments
  • Follow company policies, pricing guidelines, and compliance norms

Desired Candidate Profile:Education:

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)

Experience:

  • 8–12 years of experience in sales within surgical / medical devices / healthcare manufacturing
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in a regional or managerial sales role
  • Strong exposure to North India markets

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in distributor handling and institutional sales
  • Willingness to travel extensively
