Job Profile – Tender Manager

Position Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tender Manager to oversee and manage the complete tendering process for government and institutional business. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Central Procurement systems and practical experience with Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. This role requires a proactive professional who can identify tender opportunities, prepare documentation, ensure compliance, and drive successful submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, track, and analyze government and institutional tender opportunities.
  • Manage end-to-end tendering process, including:
  • Registration, bidding, and documentation on GeM and other central procurement portals.
  • Preparation and submission of techno-commercial bids.
  • Coordination with internal teams for technical, financial, and compliance inputs.
  • Ensure timely submission of tenders with 100% compliance to eligibility and technical requirements.
  • Maintain an updated database of tenders, submissions, approvals, and outcomes.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with stakeholders when required.
  • Stay updated on latest government procurement policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with government officials and procurement agencies for queries and clarifications.
  • Support in post-tender activities such as order processing, contract management, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate (Preferably in Business, Commerce, Pharmacy, or related field).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in handling tenders, with a strong focus on GeM and Central Procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of tender procedures, bid preparation, and contract management.
  • Hands-on experience with GeM portal operations (bidding, cataloguing, reverse auction, RA/BA etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and online procurement systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Pay: ₹17,269.55 - ₹55,784.32 per month
